The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to less fortunate children at Christmas. North State Financial proudly participates each holiday season to help bring joy to kids across our region.
Honoring the sacrifice of America's heroes
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life on 9/11. The foundation builds mortgage-free homes for Gold Star and fallen first responder families, and provides smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans.
Transforming lives one smile at a time
Smile Train empowers local medical professionals in 90+ countries to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children who need it most. A single surgery can take as little as 45 minutes and completely transform a child's life.
Serving defenders, first responders & their families
The Gary Sinise Foundation serves our nation by honoring defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. Through programs like R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), the foundation builds specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans.
Building homes for severely injured veterans
Homes For Our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 veterans, enabling them to rebuild their lives. These mortgage-free homes restore independence and allow veterans to focus on their recovery and family.
Keeping military families close during times of need
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes near military and VA medical centers, providing free lodging for military families while a loved one receives treatment. The foundation also operates Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs to help families stay together during the most difficult times.
